THE STONE ROSES
Self Directed Project.
For a project in university I decided to look at designing new vinyl album covers for bands. One of those particular bands were the stone roses. So the idea behind this design above started off with using a pouring paint technique on three different canvases. After that I digitally edited all three of them to make the background and also different textures to use throughout the whole image. The black circular shape in the middle is meant to represent a vinyl shape that has been splattered with paint. Furthermore, the actual image on the vinyl below is an abstract lemon slice.
